These organizations scrutinized both measures through their rigorous endorsement process and chose <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loveloparks.org\/index.php\/causes\/protect-our-natural-parks\/citizens-measure-explained\/\">Measure 3-568<\/a><\/strong> as the best to protect Lake Oswego natural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loveloparks.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Sierra-Club-Endorsement-Seal_Color-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3658\" width=\"130\" height=\"130\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSierra Club proudly endorses Measure 3-568.&nbsp; The measure, if passed, will define natural park boundaries enabling the protection of natural habitats, while supporting accessibility of these areas for public enjoyment.&nbsp; The measure also creates mechanisms to better enable citizens to take part in critical decisions related to 15 natural parks.&nbsp; One of Sierra Club&#8217;s missions is &#8220;to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment&#8221;, and we wholeheartedly support this grassroots citizen-initiated measure that seeks to do just that.\u201d <strong><em>\u2014 Oregon Chapter, Sierra Club<\/em><\/strong><br><br>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loveloparks.org\/index.php\/2021\/09\/04\/sierra-clubs-oregon-chapter-endorses-measure-3-568\/\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loveloparks.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/OW-logo-vert-color.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4138\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Since 1974, Oregon Wild has worked to protect and restore Oregon&#8217;s wildlands, wildlife, and waters as an enduring legacy for future generations.
